He Carried Our Weight

The Death of Jesus

On a hill outside Jerusalem, Jesus of Nazareth gave His life as the perfect sacrifice. Every sin, every wound, every moment of despair you have ever carried: He took it upon Himself. The cross is not a symbol of defeat. It is the greatest act of love the world has ever witnessed.

"He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness." 2 Peter 2:24

Silence Before the Dawn

The Burial of Jesus

The tomb was sealed. The disciples scattered. Hope, it seemed, had been buried with Him. There is sacred meaning in the silence of Holy Saturday — it mirrors every moment we have sat in our own darkness, wondering if God is still at work. He was. He always is.

"We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead, we too may live a new life."Romans 6:4

The Morning That Changed History

The Resurrection of Jesus

On the third day, the stone was rolled away. The tomb was empty. Death had been swallowed up in victory. The resurrection is the cornerstone of our faith: if Christ is risen, then every promise God has ever made stands unshakeable.

"He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay."Matthew 28:6

Hope renewed is not naive optimism. It is the bold confidence that because Jesus walked out of the tomb, your story is not over. Whatever has died in your life — a relationship, a dream, a sense of purpose — the God of resurrection specializes in new beginnings. New beginnings rooted in the salvation and sanctification of all who believe.

This Easter, we are not simply remembering a historical event. We are standing inside the ongoing story of a God who makes all things new. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is alive and active — in your family, your community, your heart.

Join us as we celebrate our risen Lord, Sunday April 5th at 11 am.

Because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions. Ephesians 2:4-5
